CASA of the New River Valley

CASA of the New River Valley, a program of NRV CARES,  trains volunteers who are committed to advocating for safe, permanent homes for abused and/or neglected children who are involved in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court proceedings.  A CASA volunteer gathers information about the child and prepares a detailed report to the Judge to help him/her make an informed decision about the child's future.  CASA remains assigned to the case until the child is either returned home safely or adopted.
