Kappa Delta holds the 7th Annual 5KD Shamrock Event to benefit Child Abuse Prevention

Virginia Tech's Kappa Delta sorority held their 7th Annual 5KD Shamrock Event on March 27, 2010 at VT's Cross Country course.  Over 550 runners showed up to run the 5K with $4800 of the proceeds donated to NRV CARES!  Anne Hague, the 5KD chair, also worked to coordinate a new fundraier the evening before the race--a pasta party at Abella Cafe in Blacksburg with 25% of those proceeds donated to NRV CARES.  NRV CARES, on behalf of the children and families of the New River Valley, gratefully thanks Kappa Delta for all of their effort!
